Since beginning this journey, we have achieved so much more than we ever imagined. From raising £4,100 for The Great North Children's Hospital (RVI) and collecting 102 bunny teddies for children in hospital, to completing an incredible 4,000+ mile journey to Benidorm and back, every milestone represents the love and support that surrounds Millie's memory.
Behind every pound raised, every challenge completed, every donation received and every smile shared is a community that has helped us turn the most devastating loss into something meaningful.
Our achievements are not measured by numbers alone. They are measured by the children we can help, the families we can support, the memories we can create and the kindness we can pass on to others facing difficult journeys of their own.
This is just the beginning of our story. We are determined to continue growing The Millie Rose Foundation, creating opportunities for children and families, supporting those who need us and spreading kindness wherever we can.
Everything we do is for Millie. Every achievement carries her name, every act of kindness helps keep her spirit alive, and every step forward brings us closer to the lasting legacy we want to build for Millie Rose Hedley.

💗 A HUGE MILESTONE FOR THE MILLIE ROSE FOUNDATION 💗
Some achievements mean more than words can ever explain, and this is one of them. 🥹💗
We are incredibly proud to share that, in loving memory of our beautiful Millie Rose, we have raised an amazing £4,100 for Ward 12 – the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Great North Children’s Hospital. 🏥💗
Following our fundraising activities, we have received this beautiful letter of thanks from Newcastle Hospitals Charity, recognising the incredible support and generosity shown in Millie’s name.
We have also received a handwritten message from Emma, along with a special certificate of appreciation from Newcastle Hospitals Charity. These are things we will treasure, as they represent so much more than the money raised. They represent the love for Millie, the kindness of our community and the difference we can make together.
On 22nd December 2025, our world changed forever when we lost Millie Rose. Nothing could ever prepare us for life without our beautiful girl, but we made a promise to keep her memory alive and to do something meaningful in her name.
Every penny raised has been part of that promise. Knowing that our fundraising will help support children and families receiving care at the hospital means more to us than we could ever express.
