Behind The Millie Rose Foundation is a small team with a big heart and a shared commitment to keeping Millie Rose's memory and legacy alive. Together, we are working towards one shared goal — supporting families, creating special memories and making a positive difference in Millie's name.

The story of Millie Rose and our adventures

Millie was a beautiful, loving and incredibly special little girl whose kindness, caring nature and vibrant personality touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Although her life was far too short, the memories she created and the love she gave continue to guide everything we do.

Through this section, we will share pieces of Millie's story, memories from her life, the things she loved, the adventures she enjoyed and the people who loved her most. We want you to get to know Millie not only through the heartbreaking circumstances of her passing, but through the beautiful girl she was and the life she lived.

From charity events and fundraising challenges to days out, community workshops, family activities and special experiences, every adventure we take is another opportunity to keep Millie's memory alive and make a positive difference to others.

Some of our posts may be joyful and full of memories, while others may share the more difficult parts of our journey. We believe it is important to be honest about grief, loss and the reality of losing a child, while also showing that love can create something meaningful from unimaginable heartbreak.

Millie may no longer be here to make new memories with us, but we will continue to create memories for her, because of her and in her name.

Fundraising success and community support

Every donation, sponsorship, fundraising activity and act of kindness helps us turn Millie's legacy into hope for other families. Our fundraising is about more than simply raising money — it is about creating opportunities, providing support and making a genuine difference to families when they need it most.

Through the generosity of our supporters, we are working towards providing practical and emotional support for families, while also creating opportunities for children and families to spend time together, make memories and enjoy experiences that may otherwise be difficult to access.

Our fundraising will help us organise family days out and special trips, giving families the opportunity to step away from the challenges they may be facing and enjoy precious time together. We also aim to provide community workshops for children and adults, including creative activities, arts and crafts, sports, music, performing arts and other activities that bring people together.

We are also committed to raising awareness of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) and helping more people understand the impact it can have on children and their families.
